Claude Enterprise merges chat and Cowork into a unified experience

Anthropic announced that the Claude Enterprise plan officially launches a unified Claude experience, merging chat and Cowork across web, desktop, and mobile, so teams can ask questions or deliver complete projects within the same conversation. Agent tasks run in Anthropic-hosted cloud environments, with each session using a separate virtual machine, network egress disabled by default, and connector credentials stored outside the sandbox. Administrators can control access by role and use the new Efficient mode to limit the experience to Sonnet and Haiku models, while also supporting spending limits at the organization, group, and member levels.

What exactly are automakers aiming for by building humanoid robots?

Automakers building humanoid robots aim to incubate new businesses using the funding, real factory tasks, and supply chain capabilities of their automotive operations—first validating them in manufacturing and store scenarios, then pursuing external customers. Tesla's Optimus has already begun production at the Fremont factory, with external delivery targets still around the end of 2027, and plans to build 10,000 to 20,000 units for training; Figure 02 has accumulated more than 1,250 hours of operation at BMW's factory, and a forearm failure prompted a wrist structure change in the third generation. Hyundai controls Boston Dynamics, XPeng develops IRON in-house, and Mojia leverages Chery's channels—the approaches differ, but whether internal trials can translate into sustained paying external customers remains to be verified.

Anthropic shares when to fold subagents into the main agent loop

In comparisons across multiple enterprise deployments, Anthropic's Applied AI team found that a single agent with skills often outperforms subagent architectures in quality, with lower per-task cost and latency, and presents a migration method for folding subagents into the main loop. The article notes that subagents remain suitable for scenarios where context bloat degrades performance, independent tasks need to be processed in parallel, or tool selection conflicts with instructions, and recommends first treating subagents as tool calls, then converting them one by one into skills and MCP tools, using end-to-end evaluations to compare performance before and after. The article mentions that Claude Code's system prompt for more advanced models has been reduced by over 80%, accompanied by Claude API skills such as build-eval, prompt-audit, hillclimb, and cost-optimize.

Anthropic Opens Claude Duet Research Preview: An Agentic App That Can Proactively Execute Tasks

Anthropic has opened the Claude Duet research preview, an agentic app built on Claude Opus 5.5 that can proactively advance tasks. It is now available on iOS, Android, and claude.ai for Pro and Max users in the United States, who must join a waitlist. Every morning it pushes a cross-app highlights briefing, and it can continuously execute tasks in the background; it requires user approval before sending messages, making payments, signing documents, or deleting, and securities trading and transfers between accounts are not permitted even with approval. Claude Duet can invoke more than 6,000 connectors and plugins in the Claude Marketplace, and it follows the credential-handling approach of Claude Managed Agents, never directly touching users' passwords or login tokens.

Google AI and Prune Nourry Recreate Lost Workshops of Women Sculptors

Artist Prune Nourry, in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture, used Google generative AI and image editing models to reconstruct the lost workshops of 19th-century Parisian women sculptors such as Nancy Elizabeth Prophet, Jane Poupelet, and Camille Claudel, and built a custom tool based on Gemini to generate walkable 3D models from archival photographs. The project is accompanied by a 10-minute documentary honoring 18 women sculptors overlooked by art history. The "Visionaries" exhibition will be on view at the Petit Palais in Paris from October 20, 2026, to January 30, 2027.

How an Anthropic Japan BDR Uses a Team of Claude Agents to Handle Daily Work

An Anthropic Japan business development representative used Claude Managed Agents (beta) to build an agent team called Nakama, handing lead triage, qualification, email drafting, Salesforce updates, and post-meeting follow-up to 6 agents that run on a schedule, completing most of the work before the start of each day. He first prototyped it in Claude using skills, scheduled tasks, and a shared folder; after migrating, skills became system prompts, the shared folder became memory storage, and changes are proposed uniformly in a Slack channel and synced by a coordinating agent roughly every 15 minutes.
