NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X Launched: GB10 Chip Comes to the Windows Platform
NVIDIA has launched the RTX Spark N1X SoC for Windows devices, which is based on the GB10 previously used in Linux mini-PCs. The chip consists of a CPU chiplet designed by MediaTek and a GPU chiplet designed by NVIDIA, both manufactured on TSMC's 3nm process. The CPU has 10 Cortex-X925 plus 10 Cortex-A725 cores, and the GPU has 48 SMs and 6144 CUDA cores, with a 256-bit LPDDR5X memory bus, up to 128GB of memory, and 300GB/s of bandwidth. This week, in addition to Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra, about six laptops and one Surface RTX Spark Dev Box mini-PC are launching on this platform.
