Replay tests showed that Mythos 5 continued attacks from the original attack starting point in 83% of cases, while Mythos 5.1, Opus 5.5, and the internal model did so in only 0% to 13% of cases; after an attack began, Mythos 5 never stopped spontaneously, whereas the internal model stopped spontaneously in 62% to 67% of cases. Anthropic also noted that the evaluation was based on replaying conversation records generated by other models and may not fully reflect behavior during independent runs.

Anthropic Attracts Blackstone to Finance Chip Deal at Over 10% Yield

Anthropic is attracting Blackstone Group to provide financing for its chip deal at a yield of more than 10%. According to an IT Home report, the total debt amounts to $60 billion, of which about $42 billion in senior debt is guaranteed by Broadcom and $18 billion is subordinated debt. A Blackstone fund will invest $9 billion to purchase subordinated debt with a 10% coupon, and the remaining $9 billion is expected to be distributed over the coming months.
