During the first CMG World Robot Mount Tai Climbing Competition, the Unitree Robot G1 development version experienced an issue due to machine overheating. For safety reasons, the operator chose to withdraw from the race, and staff placed it on a stretcher and carried it down the mountain. The course is 3.9 kilometers long with more than 3,100 steps. The event includes four official competition categories—humanoid robot racing, legged robot racing, legged robot load-bearing, and exoskeleton robot assistance—as well as one all-terrain mobile pathfinding challenge.

新浪科技讯 11月2日晚间消息，近日，首届CMG世界机器人登泰山大赛在山东泰安开赛。明星产品宇树机器人作为永达智诚的参赛选品亮相。据操作手介绍，该机器人为宇树机器人G1开发版本，即春晚同款。
不过，据现场视频，宇树机器人并未完赛。在比赛中途，该机器人因机器过热出现状况，操作手为安全起见选择退赛，由工作人员将机器人放上担架并抬下山。
