Beijing News Shell Finance News, October 28: Doubao public relations head Liu Xing posted that the rumor that "Hengdian is cooperating with ByteDance to feed the likenesses and voices of 150,000 extras to ByteDance's large model" is seriously untrue.

Liu Xing said that the Hengdian Film and Television AI Service Platform project is actually intended to build a set of public digital infrastructure, turning assets such as the real-life scenes of the film and television base into high-quality datasets, helping production crews select locations, prepare, and shoot more efficiently, and also lowering the threshold for small and medium-sized film and television companies to use AI, so that more creators have the conditions to do their work well. Volcano Engine is the technical support provider in this project, and all data assets belong to Hengdian or the authorizing parties. This project involves the use of anyone's likeness and voice, and authorization from the person concerned is certainly required. The data from this project will also not be used to train ByteDance's large model.
